SLLIS will begin accepting applications to Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 6th grade for the 2015-2016 school year TODAY!!
Kindergarteners and 1st graders have the opportunity to choose to attend The Spanish School, The French School, or The Chinese School. Families can select one of three schools or rank each school by preference when applying.
6th grade families applying to The International School have the opportunity to choose between the Spanish and the French partial language immersion program. The partial-language immersion program is available to any incoming 6th grader living in an eligible area. We do not require any language experience prior to enrolling.
To receive an electronic enrollment application, we ask that our families attend an enrollment event. We invite you to attend one, or all, of our engaging and fun events. Students applying for The International School will be asked to spend a shadow day prior to acceptance and write a reflection about their experience.
If you are interested in enrolling your child in grades 2nd through 5th grade, please see our revised enrollment policy below (passed by the Board of Directors in November 2013).
Daytime and Evening Tours
Daytime tours offer a unique chance for our families to see our kids and staff in action. Please arrive by 8am for a presentation with the Head of School. The presentation will be followed by a tour and Q&A session. We also offer evening tours. If you are interested in scheduling a tour, please click here to sign-up, Tour & Open House Sign-Up.

Revised Enrollment Policy.
Passed by the Board of Directors, November 2013.
In accordance with Missouri Revised Statute 160.410.3, SLLIS restricts the enrollment of new students to specific grade levels. SLLIS elementary schools will only accept new student applications for kindergarten or first grade. New applicants to SLLIS elementary schools are welcome in grades 2-5 for students who have attended a school during the last calendar in which 50% or more of instruction is conducted in the target language of the school of application. Students in grades 2-5 who do not meet this standard are not eligible to apply to a SLLIS elementary school.
The International School will enroll new students (those who are not continuing from a previous SLLIS campus) in 6th grade and 9th grade. New applicants to The International School who have attended a school during the last calendar year in which 30% or more of instruction is conducted in the target language are eligible to apply for grades 7-8.
The enrollment application for The International School will require that students and their parents participate in and provide their observations of a full preview day of immersion instruction.
Former SLLIS students are eligible to apply for re-enrollment at any grade level at the SLLIS school in which they were enrolled during the previous school year.
