Monday 2/20: No school for Presidents’ Day. The Club SLLIS theme will be Around the World.
From 10 am – 12 pm, join us for our Presidents’ Day Celebration at SLLIS! This celebration will feature St. Louis Osuwa Taiko drummers, Afriky Lolo dance group and Carmen Dence & Grupo Atlantico.
Tuesday 2/21: The City Health Department will be presenting brief asthma workshops for all classes Tuesday, February 21st and Wednesday, February 22nd. Please contact your Head of School for your scheduled visit.
From 5pm – 8pm, meet the PA folks at Atomic Cowboy 4140 Manchester Avenue for the PA Restaurant Night. Mention that you’re there for SLLIS and a portion of your ticket will be returned to the PA!

From 4 – 6 pm, a public meeting about facilities and expansion will be held.
Following the facilities and expansion meeting will be the monthly Board of Directors meeting from 6 – 8 pm.
Thursday 2/23: From 8:30 – 9:30 am, the Intern Task Force meeting will be hosted by Lisa Dorner and Molly Koebbe, sllispainterns@gmail.com.

Join Madame Louise on Thursdays from 5 – 6 for French classes. Please bring a pen or pencil and paper.
Friday 2/24: From 7:30 – 8:15 am, join TSS for a cup of coffee at Buenos Días Familias. This is an opportunity to have a conversation with the administration, teachers, teacher assistants, specialist teachers and social worker about The Spanish School. Coffee dates are December 9, 2011; January 20, February 24, March 30 and May 11, 2012. This meeting will focus specifically on recess.

Saturday 2/25: The: (SPACE) Blue Moon fundraiser will take place from 9 am – 1 pm at Pop’s Blue Moon, 5249 Pattison Avenue. Some of the proceeds will be going to SLLIS for our green space. The show costs $5 per ticket.
